I installed a fresh windows 10 ISO yesterday. This ISO was made with 1903 (maybe one year ago).

I installed some basic stuff, like AMD chipset, Nvidia driver and only a few programs when I noticed that Windows Update wasn't working. I've seen several code errors, I do remember that last night it was 0x80070003. I tried the usual repairs that can be found online, like resetting windows update service, trying with a clean boot, and trying to download the update manually with the W10 Update Assistant.

None have worked. My last attempt was to update straight into 21H1 and now I'm getting this error: 0xe06d7363.

Remarkably, the update process uses this much RAM:

This is my CBS.log file after the last failed update.

Thank you.

OK, so you cleanly installed Windows yesterday and it won't update and something seems broken, but you do want to update to 21H1? Is this a *custom* Windows 10 ISO of any kind, or just a default Windows 1903 Installation disc?

If the latter - make your own life easier - go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and download the new 21H1 ISO tool and make a brand new .ISO of 21H1 directly

If it is a custom .ISO, I still say - grab a new 21H1 .ISO and make your modifications to it and directly install that. But, that would require knowing what mods you made and following a tutorial (or a few, possibly) from 10F.

Just food for thought - some people have no issues taking update after update after update, but I always find Microsoft breaking something with updates, and thus find it better to clean install the latest build directly whenever possible.

Please post back as to which situation above applies, and we'll go from there.
