I have to mention that:
So, I could be faster, but I'd have to connect directly to the AT&T router - and the basement is unfinished, so no joy in being down there at all.
- This is in my new home, and with a new subscription to AT&T LightSpeed FTTH connection - fiber running all the way inside my home to an ONT, to which the router connects.
- The AT&T supplied router is getting ~920 Mbps down and ~960 Mbps up.
- I have connected my Google WiFi to that, via Cat6a wire that I ran to the main floor from the basement.
- I have a second Google WiFi puck up on the 2nd floor, and I have that puck then connecting to a switch, to which my laptops and desktop are now connected.
Wow, that's double my download speed.
