Normal browsers allow you to save password manually, if auto-catch fails, but Edge, well it is MS, as always.
Is there any workaround or you just have copy/paste password from a notepad, because of MS-Google war?

EDIT: Solved. Moved to Chrome. Edge is ludicrous and version 88 killed it (opening everything for 5+ secs)

Look in Microsoft Edge Settings under passwords and see if the google accounts have somehow got into the Never Saved section which you will find at the very bottom of the list.

No, apparently it is a known problem, I was just wondering, whether it is possible to save it elsewhere, like import it into MS account and then use it? It kind of makes sync passwords useless without actually saving them.

That's how I do it....In Chrome you have to use flags to enable "export" passwords. Then go into Edge and import.....if I remember correctly. It's been awhile since I did it. For me....using the import/export function works great.
