So, I recently bought both Watch Dogs: Legion and Cyberpunk 2077. My specs are listed below, and while my graphics card (and monitors) are severely lacking, they get the job done, mostly.

Watch Dogs: Legion was playable with decent frame rates thanks to lowered settings and the lower resolution of my monitors. Cyberpunk, eh, well, there are some issues - particularly when there are more than a couple of audio streams trying to run.

However, enter nVidia's GeForce Now - it allows m,e to play Cyberpunk right nicely thanks to my Fiber connection relatively well. It would be better if I had a modern graphics card to compare with, but hands down the playback is much smoother through GFN than trying to use my local video card.

GFN allows you to play games from Steam, GOG and Epic Games through them. And it seems to have picked up on my Ubi games as well (as I can play Watch Dogs 2, WD: Legion and even Assassin's Creed: Valhalla through GFN).

The only thing that GFN lacks is integration with EA / Origin games (IOW: Mass Effect trilogy and all the NFS games I've bought that reside in Origin).

Needless to say, I'm not 'hurting' for a new GA, even if I am using 6-7 year old technology lol.

If you haven;t checked out GFN, I recommend that you do.

Just as an update - although laboriously slow, CDPR's 1.11 and subsequent 1.12 makes the game playable directly off my 970, no lag issues in high volume traffic areas anymore.

But GeForceNow is still a good way to play, if just a *bit* more slower than local.

Isn't GFN for everything but a PC....ie laptop, tablet, phone?

GeForce NOW Instantly transforms nearly any laptop, desktop, Mac, SHIELD TV, Android device, iPhone, or iPad into the PC gaming rig you've always dreamed of. Instantly play the most demanding PC games and seamlessly play across your devices.

Nope - GFN works well on a PC, and it is a native Windows app.

From Experience GeForce NOW Gaming Anywhere & Anytime

CLOUD GAMING ON ALL YOUR DEVICES

GeForce NOW Instantly transforms nearly any laptop, desktop, Mac, SHIELD TV, Android device, iPhone, or iPad into the PC gaming rig you’ve always dreamed of. Instantly play the most demanding PC games and seamlessly play across your devices

They even have a Chrome browser version in ßeta testing.

So, if you can connect other accounts (I have my Steam account connected) you can play (some of) the games in there - and Cyberpunk is one of them. As a Founder, I also get extended game playing time and RTX is enabled by default - so the game play looks a lot better than native.
